CLIMATE FOCUS: Planetary Technologies - A new way to capture carbon?

Thank you to all of you who were able to come to our last climate focus session. Our next meeting will be online, on Thursday the 27th of April, at 5:30-7pm.

This month's speaker will be Mike Kelland, the CEO of Planetary Technologies - a company that proposes a pilot study off the Cornish coast exploring the opportunity to accelerate natural processes to remove carbon from the atmosphere and rebalance the pH level of our oceans to support marine life.

I've invited Planetary Technologies to explain what is being proposed and the anticipated benefits and to correct the record in relation to some of headlines in local press coverage.

I've received several constructive queries from constituents and this is an opportunity to have your questions answered.
