Westminster Diary 27 May 2015

Today has been a fascinating and productive day in Westminster.
First, the Queen’s Speech setting out what this Government will do during this parliament in particular to encourage aspiration for all.
Lunch at No 11 followed to discuss how I can secure further investment for West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
After debate in the Chamber I then met with Transport Minister Claire Perry MP, to talk through the need to reduce rail journey times to Penzance.
I also tabled a question for the Secretary of State for Health about my commitment to bring health and social care together in meaningful integration in West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly for a debate next Tuesday.
